Photo Album Module for ATutor 1.5.2 =================================== WARNING: This is beta software. Do not run this module on a production server Features * Add and share photos * Share comments on class photos * Approve and edit photos before public postings Installation 1. Download the files into the following directory: /ATutor/mods/ 2. Unzip the file using the UNIX command: tar xvf atutor_photoa-1.0.beta.tar 3. A folder named photo_album is created 4. Log in as administrator on your ATutor server 5. Go to 'modules' then 'install modules', 'Photo Album' should appear as an entry 6. Click the radio button beside 'Photo Album' then click 'Install' 7. A success message will indicate a successful install (please report errors!) 8. On the 'Modules' page, the 'Photo Album' appears 9. Click the radio button beside 'Photo Album' and click 'Enable' 10. Log out ad administrator and log in as instructor 11. From the 'My Start Page' select a course that you are authorized to manage 12. Click the 'Manage' button 13. Click 'Student Tools' button 14. Select if you want the Photo Album to appear on the Main Navigation or Home by clicking the check box 15. Click 'Save' button 16. A success message is displayed if there are no errors 17. You module is ready for use Administration The system is set up so that both administrator and instructor can approve and delete photos. When a student adds a photo it is sent to an approval queue until an instructor or an administrator approves it. To approve photos, select Photo Album from the Manage tab and view the New Photos. Click the check box and then click the appropriate button to approve photos. Errors This is beta software.
